I am a science writer and educator currently working for the Boston Museum of Science and writing for the YouTube channels SciShow and SciShow Space. Previously, I was the AAAS Mass Media Fellow at Wired, where I spent a summer writing for the Science desk, and before that I was a staff writer at ScienceAlert.

I have a master’s degree in physics from Wesleyan University, where I wrote a thesis describing experimental fluid dynamics research that I began three years earlier as a sophomore at Wesleyan majoring in physics and the Science in Society Program. While completing my master’s and writing for ScienceAlert and SciShow, I also found the time to spend one Friday night making beautiful excel spreadsheets out of my iTunes listening history.

Yes, there were graphs.
